Diving into pandoras box of modular gear, we searched extensively for a true vintage, lively sounding VCO which didn’t suffer from pitch drift. While working with different VCOs we always found ourselves stuck between getting that lively vintage sound but experiencing drift or getting a stable but very stiff sounding output. With the ACL VCOs and the benefit of a thermostat circuit, we finally found what we were looking for. Using one Multifunction discrete VCO and two variable Sync VCOs a single monster of beat frequency oscillation or basic chords for further sequencing action can be created. We love to play with stereo in a mix and by experimenting with the M/S Matrix in conjunction with EQs and filters for widening the stereo image, it felt like pure magic could be brought into a patch! About Sensimood

Sensimood is an open-minded melange of chillout and trip-hop patterns deriving from a pure studio context. Inspired & influenced by Frankfurt based artists as Aural Float and Ralf Hildenbeutel as well as international acts as Enigma, Nightmares on wax and Morcheeba we started our journey in 2005 with our first album „Our Kingdom“. This was followed by „Inner Sense“ in 2008 and „Hidden from a distance“ in 2015. We honed our skills further with the latest album „Space HiFi“ released in 2021 covering a broad range of space trax.
